World Health Organization Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus predicted the end of the coronavirus pandemic in the coming year. He announced this at a briefing at the headquarters of the organization in Geneva, lenta.ru reports.
“2022 must be the year of the end of the pandemic,” said the head of WHO. He also noted that such an outcome is possible only if 70% of the world's population is vaccinated against coronavirus by the middle of next year.
