Winners of the essay competition “We hear the world, the world hears us” announced in Ashgabat

The jury of the essay competition on the topic “We hear the world, the world hears us” summed up the results.

The competition, organized by the “Ýeňme” Public Organization, is timed to coincide with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which is celebrated on December 3, and Human Rights Day, on December 10.

Based on the results of the work of the jury, the winners were determined:

  • 1st place - 9th grade student of school №24 in the city of Dashoguz Leyli Saparova, essay “Thank you for your friendship!”;
  • 2nd place - 4th year student of the Institute of International Relations Oraeva Jahan, essay on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities;
  • 3rd place - specialist of the enterprise “Sayaly Menzil” Chashemov Murad, essay “If the stars light up, then somebody needs it”.

The laureates of the competition were:

  • Artem Kusaev - social worker (Dashoguz);
  • Igor Kaganovsky - pensioner (Ashgabat);
  • Ene Nepesova - student (Ashgabat).

Jury members of the competition:

Renata Vrubel - Deputy Ambassador of the European Union to Turkmenistan.

Elena Butova - representative of the UN Human Rights Office.

Irina Imamkulieva - journalist.

Aysenem Nurlyeva – journalist.

Guljamal Nurmuhammedova - Chairman of the public organization “Yashyl Shohle”.

Gulya Choreklieva - Chairperson of the “Ýeňme” public organization.

The award ceremony will take place tomorrow, December 6, at the Center of the “Ýeňme” public organization.
