The French Institute in Turkmenistan announces that an event will be held on November 25 to mark the International Day of the Teacher of the French language, which is celebrated annually around the world on the fourth Thursday of November.
The event will be held in an online format and is designed to bring together French language teachers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
All interested parties will also be able to join the event.
We suggest that you familiarize yourself with the program of the event:
13.00-14.00 - Opening of the regional event. Welcoming remarks will be delivered by the French ambassadors to five Central Asian countries.
14.00-15.15 - Speeches by teachers of the French language in Central Asia:
- Presentation on the theme “Cours interactif en ligne: apprendre à lire et à prononcer en français” by Ekaterina Firsova, French teacher, director of the French Alliance in Karaganda, Kazakhstan from 14.00 to 14.15.
- Presentation of the French textbook in the development of Méthode “Le français en action!” 2e volume - Tatiana Domnina, Almira Tastambekova - teachers of the French Alliance Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan at 14.15-14.30.
- Presentation on the theme “Écriture créative en classe de FLE” by Tatiana Domnina, French teacher of the French Alliance Nur-Sultan (Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan) at 14.30-14.45.
- Presentation on the topic “Web-radio Les amis” from Elyor Ukkiev, French teacher (Bostanlyk, Tashkent region, Uzbekistan) at 14.45-15.00.
- Presentation on the theme “Félicitations, vous avez obtenu une bourse d'études!” (la cyberquête dans l'apprentissage du français en autonomie) from Aitkali Bakitov, French teacher (Almaty, Kazakhstan) at 15.00-15.15.
15.30-16.30 - Speech by French teacher from France Christelle Hopp, doctor in teaching foreign languages, French teacher at the University of Nantes and INALCO (National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations).
16.30 - 17.30 - Round table on topical issues of the Associations of French language teachers in Central Asia. Participants: Serge Bellini, Attaché for Cooperation in the Field of Education of the French Embassy in Uzbekistan, representatives of the
French Language Teachers Association in Central Asia.
17.30-18.00 Closing of the event. Final word:
- Alex Bortolan, Cultural and Cooperation Counselor at the French Embassy in Kazakhstan;
- Laurent Auriol, Counselor for Culture and Cooperation of the French Embassy in Uzbekistan.
