An award ceremony was held in Kazan following the results of the Russian language Olympiad among foreign students studying at universities in the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation.
In 2021, 233 foreign students from 15 countries of the world took part in the Olympiad. The Olympiad included not only competitions in general theoretical knowledge, but also in their creative application.
Turkmen students took all the prizes, according to the official website of the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Kazan.
The KFU magistracy student Gulyalek Kurbanova and the 3rd year KFU student Nonna Tumanova took the first place, the 3rd year student of the Yelabuga Institute of the KFU Enejan Hamidova - the second place, the 4th year student of the Yelabuga Institute of the KFU Lidia Shirmamedova - the third place.
During the month, the participants of the Olympiad went through two stages: a dictation in the Russian language on works of Russian classical literature on the basis of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of the Kazan Federal University and oral assignments, which are impromptu stories on various topics using the Microsoft Teams online platform.
The work of the participants of the Olympiad was evaluated by an expert council, which included doctors and candidates of philological and pedagogical sciences, teachers of the Russian language of higher education. The members of the expert council also made interesting lectures on the Russian language and literature.
