Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Kazan) Atadurdy Bayramov paid a working visit to “Tatneft”. This is reported by the energyland.info edition.

The program of the visit included a visit to the Modeling Center of PAO “TATNEFT”, as well as the new research campus of the Almetyevsk State Oil Institute (AGNI) under construction in Almetyevsk.

The Consul General met with students from Turkmenistan studying at the AGNI.

Cooperation issues were discussed with the General Director of “TATNEFT” Nail Maganov. A strategy for further mutually beneficial cooperation was considered, which will allow doubling oil production in the fields of Turkmenistan. Also, the issue of training students from Turkmenistan at the AGNI on the master's program was considered.

The partnership between “Tatneft” and the State Concern “Turkmennebit” at the Goturdepe field has been developing for more than 10 years and is secured by relevant agreements.

The source notes that “Tatneft” specialists are implementing a production program to enhance oil recovery at the wells of the Goturdepe field as part of a service contract. “Tatneft” organized service production in Turkmenistan for the repair of electric submersible pumps, tubing, built an industrial base for repair work.

Only due to geological and technical measures, it was possible to increase oil production at Goturdepe by 18%. At the beginning of November, geological and technical measures carried out at 197 wells made it possible to additionally produce more than 400 thousand tons of oil, create more than 700 jobs, the source said.
