At a meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan on November 16, Deputy Prime Minister Sapardurdy Toylyev presented to the President for consideration a proposal to send a representative group of Turkmen specialists to the city of Munich on November 21-24, to the Grosshadern clinic of the Maximilian-Ludwig University of Munich as part of the training of national healthcare workers and further strengthening of fruitful cooperation with German partners.
Toylyev noted that in the course of many years of bilateral cooperation, the exchange of best practices is carried out on a systematic basis, Turkmen doctors improve their professional level in leading clinics of Germany in various directions, and German specialists regular visiting our country. In the period 2011–2021, 9 forums were held in Turkmenistan and Germany, the agenda of which included topical health issues.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov praised the effective cooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany in such an important area as healthcare. The established close ties with world-renowned clinics of the Federal Republic of Germany, experienced German scientists and doctors contribute to the progressive development of national medical science and practice, and the improvement of specialized education in accordance with international standards.
