During the week, 38 transactions were concluded at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Switzerland, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan purchased refined heating oil, aviation kerosene and refined diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TCOR).
In addition, carpets of the “Türkmenhaly” State Association, as well as colorless glass products of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan were sold for foreign currency. The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 29 million 543 thousand US dollars.
For manat funds, representatives of business circles from the UAE and Kazakhstan purchased carpets for a total amount of 19 thousand manat.
For the domestic market, Turkmen businessmen bought high-pressure polyethylene, carpets, and cotton fiber. The total amount of transactions exceeded 30 million 625 thousand 100 manat.
A week ago, the amount of foreign exchange transactions on the Turkmenistan exchange exceeded 39.4 million US dollars.
