The 14th International Conference "Turkmentel-2021", dedicated to the development of the sphere of telecommunications, telemetry, information technologies and broadcasting equipment, started today in the capital of Turkmenistan. The conference is held in a hybrid (mixed) format, its international participants will be able to attend meetings via video conferencing.
The scientific conference is organized by the “Turkmenaragatnashyk” Agency, the Ministry of Industry and Communications and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the conference participants with a welcoming message. In his message, he congratulated the participants of the international event and wished them success in solving the most important issues to be discussed during the meetings at the conference.
The event is attended by representatives of the “Turkmenaragatnashyk” Agency, the Altyn Asyr cellular communications company, the Turkmentelekom telecommunications company, the “Turkmenpochta” divisions, the CJSC “Turkmen Hemrasy”, as well as a number of private companies.
Among the traditional foreign participants are the permanent partners of Turkmenistan in the field of communications and information technologies, such as Nokia, HUAWEI, Kaspersky, Delta Telecom LTD and others.
During the conference, a series of discussions will be held on the development of cooperation between state and private organizations of Turkmenistan, specializing in the provision of communication services and in the field of high technologies and domestic and foreign companies.
In particular, sessions will be held on the following topics:
- "International cooperation in the field of digital economy - regulation and legislation - foreign direct investment";
- "The role of new technologies of the space system in the digital economy";
- "Fixed and mobile communications: building a unified national communication network - innovation - cloud technologies - 5G";
- "Information security in the era of digital transformation."
