A center for access to information, equipped with modern communication technology, computer equipment, the necessary servers, network and software products for the installation of a high-speed Internet connection, will be created in Turkmenistan. At today's meeting of the Government, Deputy Prime Minister Sapardurdy Toylyev reported to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on plans to create this center, the State News Agency reported.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Ministry of Science and Information and Communication Technologies of the Republic of Korea proposed to create the Center equipped with the cutting-edge technology. According to Toylyev, the Center will contribute to the technological and innovative development of the digital educational system of our country, improve digital educational services, create a modern electronic educational and methodological base necessary for all levels of education, increase the literacy of citizens in web design and programming by ensuring accessibility to electronic educational resources.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved the proposal, noting that the formation of a modern digital educational environment is a priority state task.
