The issues of bilateral interaction related to the implementation of border, customs and phytosanitary supervision in border areas, taking into account the current sanitary and epidemiological standards, were discussed today at the “Serhetabat-Turgundi” checkpoint by representatives of Turkmenistan and the Herat province of Afghanistan.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of banking, financial and medical organizations, other specialized and law enforcement agencies of the two countries.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the participants of the meeting discussed the issues of increasing the cargo passed through the “Serhetabat-Turgundi” checkpoint, including assistance in the provision of the necessary medical equipment.
