Akjemal Durdyeva, who previously worked as deputy hyakim (head of administration) of Dashoguz velayat at regular meetings of the Central Council of the Women's Union and the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, was elected as the head of these public organizations.
At the meetings, organizational issues were considered, in accordance with which Gurbangul Atayeva was relieved of her posts as head of the Central Council of the Women's Union and the National Center of Trade Unions in connection with the transfer to another job.

The decisions of public organizations were approved by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the “Vatan” news program of the Turkmen television reported.
