The works of the artist Mr. Abdulmukhamed Deryayev, better known on the internet with the alias Azimus Deryayev, are gaining popularity among the Turkmen fine art connoisseurs.
The themes of his paintings are both genre scenes and portraits. They are distinguished by the thoroughness of drawing details and a special color scheme: because of the abundance of golden shades, they seem to be illuminated by sunlight from inside.
The artist is not strictly adherent to one direction in painting, but tries different styles, from classics and realism to graphics and a modern style close to pop art.
Azimus Deryayev started his career in art as a child. His interest in painting was born thanks to watching TV shows dedicated to creative personalities. In 2004, he entered the art school at the faculty of "Easel Painting" where he acquired the first skills of a professional painter. He graduated from the art school in 2008, continuing his professional education in 2012, subsequently becoming a student of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, at the
Department of Architecture and Design. Since then, developing his "business card", Azimus has honed his skills in various areas of the painting.
His works can be found on the internet. So in his Instagram profile, some of his paintings reach up to 9 million views, which indicates an increased interest in his works.
The artist plans to organize an exhibition of his works at the international level.
