Construction of a plant for the production of polyvinyl acetate is planned in Dashoguz velayat

The construction of a gas chemical plant for the production of polyvinyl acetate will begin in the Dashoguz velayat, according to today's “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper. The main area of application of polyvinyl acetate is the production of polyvinyl acetate adhesive (PVA). Also, acrylic and water-based paints are made on its basis, it is also used for the manufacture of polyvinyl alcohol and polyvinyl acetate.

In this regard, the State Concern “Turkmengas” announces an international tender for the design and construction of this plant on a turnkey basis on the basis of direct investments with the condition of production sharing in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan “On Hydrocarbon Resources”.

Those wishing to participate in the tender are invited to:

  • submit a signed and sealed written application (from companies registered or having bank accounts in offshore zones, applications are not accepted) about the desire to participate in the tender indicating the full name of the participant, his legal status, country of registration, bank details in a closed and sealed envelope with covering letter. The application is submitted to the address: Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, Archabil Shayoly, 56, State Concern “Turkmengas”;
  • get acquainted with the Law of Turkmenistan “On Hydrocarbon Resources”;
  • obtain from the Department of Foreign Economic Relations of the State Concern “Turkmengas” a technical assignment, the main terms of the contract and the necessary information for filing an application.

Applications are accepted within 30 (thirty) working days from the date of the official publication of the announcement in the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”, but no later than 18.00 local time on the 30th working day.

Applications received later than the above deadline will not be accepted.
