The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Russia will begin to accept applications for the extension of passports from August 2, 2021, according to the official website of the diplomatic mission.
In accordance with the decree of the President of Turkmenistan No. 2300 dated July 1, 2021, from August 2, 2021, the Consular Section of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Russia and begins the procedure for renewing the passports of citizens of Turkmenistan for leaving Turkmenistan and entering Turkmenistan, expired or expiring from 1st January 2020 to 30th December 2022.
Foreign passports will be extended until December 31, 2022.
Foreign passports will be stamped with a QR code and a mark on the extension of the passport until December 3, 2022.
In this regard, citizens of Turkmenistan should contact the Consular Section of the Embassy from 08:00 to 12:00 (Moscow time). You need to have with you:
- Application to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Russia on the model. Link to download the application form in Microsoft Word format;
- The questionnaire in Microsoft Word format in electronic form on a USB-drive (USB-flash drive) and in printed form according to the sample. Link to download the application form in Microsoft Word format;
- A copy of the first page of the foreign passport of a citizen of Turkmenistan;
- One 3x4 color photo in electronic form on USB-media in JPG format and in printed form.
The procedure for extending the validity of a foreign passport is free of charge, the message says.
