The new passenger ship “Rahat” (“Comfortable”) joined the Caspian fleet of Turkmenistan. The vessel was built for our country in accordance with the bilateral agreements reached at a high level between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan.
The total length of the high-speed passenger ship is over 33 meters. It is intended for tourists and travelers who love boat trips.
The ship has all the amenities for passengers, their comfortable sailing, relaxation and viewing of endless sea spaces.
The cruise ship has a modern design, is able to sail 100 miles from the coast, technical parameters and equipment fully meet the high requirements for modern passenger ships.
According to the State News Agency of the country, the ceremony of receiving the new passenger ship “Rahat” took place in accordance with age-old national traditions.
The participants of the celebration gathered on the quay greeted the ship with music, songs and thunderous applause. According to the custom of the Turkmen, the ritual of meeting the ship was performed - an alaja ribbon was tied as a talisman, and the side of the ship itself was sprinkled with white flour as a sign of a safe sail in the waters of the Caspian Sea.
