Targeted events dedicated to the Days of Culture and Poetry of Mahtumkuli Fragi are held in the children's health centers located in Gokdere, the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper reports.
Various events were organized in the “Altyn Damja” children's health center, which became a vivid demonstration of the multifaceted creative talents of children.
A diverse exhibition of children's handicrafts was launched here, where handicrafts were presented, as well as hand-made national embroideries made by children.
Skilled craftsmen from among the children held a kind of master classes, telling and showing how embroidery is done. The same master classes were held by members of the molding and ceramics circle.
Sports and creative contests were held at other venues of the health resort.
Employees of one of the capital's libraries organized a book exhibition and held an educational event for the children on the topic “Book is the key to knowledge”.
In the finale, a joint concert was held with the participation of the pupils of “Dovletliler Koshgi”, who spend their school holidays directly in the “Altyn Damja” children's health center, as well as their peers, guests of the health resort - students of the capital's school of arts No. 2.
The most active participants in the events were presented with gifts.
A literary meeting with the country's poets and writers was held at the “Nebitchi” children's health center.
The collective of the Turkmen State Puppet Theater came to visit the children of the “Altyn Yyldyz” Children's Health Center.
Children's health center “Yashlyk” was visited by the actors of the State Russian Drama Theater named after A.S. Pushkin. They showed their stage performances, after which master classes in theatrical art were held.
The performances of the student circus group of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture were held at the “Bagtyyar Nesiller” health resort.
On the first day of this week, an impromptu “Book Festival” was solemnly held in all Gokdere children's recreation centers, which included thematic exhibitions, intellectual quizzes, literary readings, and meetings between schoolchildren and authors of their favorite works of art.
The events were organized jointly by the ministries of education, sports and youth policy and the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Mahtumkuli.
