The capital Fashion House “Asman” on May 23 online for the first time presented a new collection “Merjen Shaherim Ashgabat” (“Pearl City of Ashgabat”), created for the 140th anniversary of the Turkmen capital.
Thanks to the online fashion show, a large audience of Internet users made a virtual journey into the world of Turkmen fashion.
The designers focused on the design of the festive collection, which included 25 evening dresses, the ideological style of which was inspired by the history, culture and beauty of the Turkmen capital.
A wide variety of materials were used in the creation of the outfits - velvet, keteni, shantu, Italian silks, knitwear with dusting (amber), chiffon with a print, as well as plain fabrics. Moreover, each outfit is decorated with original handmade embroidery (keshte).
In the laboratory of the “Asman” brand, the process of decorating in the style of amber has also been mastered, which gives the products of the fashion house originality and special flavor.
The online show was organized by “Asman” for the first time, but taking into account the experience of its participation in the VII season of Aspara Fashion Week, which was held in video format in the first decade of April 2021 in the ancient Kazakh city of Taraz.
As you know, in this show, the collection of Turkmen fashion designers “Zamana” was highly appreciated by fashion industry experts and found numerous fans far beyond the borders of our country.
