“Turkmenistan” Airlines switched to a new baggage system Piece Concept

“Turkmenistan” Airlines, with the transition to the summer schedule, from March 25, 2021, introduced new free baggage allowances on its flights. The Piece Concept system will now be used, the carrier's press service said.

Many major foreign airlines are already using this system. Previously, the principles of Weight Concept were applied on the flights of the Turkmen airline.

On “Turkmenistan” flights, economy class passengers will be able to carry one piece of baggage (suitcase, bag) weighing no more than 25 kg. Business class passengers will be able to carry free baggage weighing no more than 40 kg. (including carry-on baggage). The rest of the pieces (suitcase, bag) are paid depending on the destination for 1 (one) piece of excess baggage up to 32 kg. from 50 USD to 60 USD.

Istanbul / Ankara / Delhi / Amritsar / Moscow / Saint Petersburg / Kazan / Minsk / Beijing / Bangkok / London / Birmingham / Frankfurt - Turkmenistan will be 60 USD for 1 (one) piece of baggage up to 32 kg.
