The Ashgabat Museum presents the works of young Turkmen architects

Students and recent graduates of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering presented their designs at the Museum of Fine Arts, “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper reported.

The thematic exhibition brings together coursework, as well as diploma projects and layouts, which reflect ideas aimed at the development of urban planning.

“The main goal of the exhibition is to demonstrate the urban planning potential of our country, which is based on national traditions and modern trends in architecture. Most of the exhibits acquaint with the original author's ideas, which embody the tasks for the further progressive development of the Turkmen capital, ”stressed Nuryagdy Yagshimuradov, vice-rector for scientific work, candidate of art history.

At the exhibition, over 50 projects and layouts are presented by the Academy of Arts. Among the works are projects of Aygul Dolyeva, Bahargul Yagmyrova, Mive Sopieva, Aylar Gurbangylyjova, Gurbangozel Oraeva, who embodied ideas for the construction of new multi-storey residential areas, buildings for news agencies, university and school complexes, scientific, cultural and sports centers, recreation areas, monuments.

Representatives of the Department of Architecture of the Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering - head Aisha Gubaeva and teacher Shasenem Berdymuradova noted that the authors of the works presented at the exhibition come from all velayats. This fact, in fact, predetermined the “address binding” of the declared objects proposed for construction in various regions of our country. But the most impressive collection of exclusive urban planning ideas is dedicated to Ashgabat.
Senior students, recent graduates and young teachers of Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction - Mergen Shihimov, Sona Charyarova, Dovlet Bayramov, Baymurat Babayev, Meredali Sahedov, Merdan Berdyniyazov, Shirmuhammed Jepbarov, with their works, are opening the curtain in the near future, talking about what new city-building projects will be built and they may appear on the map of the country.

Among the promising applications there are projects for the reconstruction of a number of existing facilities, as well as the construction of new ones - these are multifunctional medical structures, exhibition grounds, shopping and sports complexes, the House of Models, educational institutions, the Information Technology Center, the station square, waste processing plants and others.

The presentation of the exhibition works will take place within the framework of the International Scientific Conference entitled “History of Architectural Art and Culture”, which will be held online in the next few days here, in the museum.
Architectural universities of the CIS countries will take part in the conference.

These days, preparations for the remote international scientific forum are in full swing. Videos are shot at the exposition site of the museum, which will help to fully present the ideas and ideas embodied in the design projects and layouts of novice Turkmen architects.
