Ceremonies of honoring mothers with many children were held in Turkmenistan

Today, the Center for Public Organizations hosted a ceremony honoring mothers who gave birth to and raised eight or more children, who, in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, were awarded the honorary title “Ene mähri” (“Mother's tenderness”).

The festive event was attended by representatives of the country's leadership, various ministries and departments, public organizations, the media, creative community and, of course, mothers with many children from Ashgabat - those who, on the eve of the holiday, were awarded the honorary title “Ene mähri” by the decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. 

The woman-mother at all times was the foundation not only of the family, but also of the social order as a whole. Taking care of motherhood and childhood, preserving family values, developing the creative and intellectual potential of Turkmen women have been elevated to the rank of state policy of the President of Turkmenistan.

Solemn ceremonies honoring mothers who gave birth and raised eight or more children, who were awarded the honorary title “Ene mähri” in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, were also held in all velayat centers of the country.

Traditionally, all women, without exception, received monetary gifts on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
