Nordwind Airlines resumed transit landings at Turkmenabat airport

Transit landings at Turkmenabat International Airport (Turkmenistan) during flights from Moscow (Russia) to Bokhtar (Tajikistan) were resumed by Nordwind Airlines.

The Boeing-737-800 belonging to the airline made a technical landing for refueling at the Turkmenabat airport yesterday. According to the online desk on the official website of the Russian airline, flight N4418 on the Moscow - Bokhtar - Moscow route is performed once a week.

Turkmenabat International Airport with a capacity of 500 passengers per hour was opened in April 2018. The airport is able to receive aircraft of any type, including Airbus A380 and cargo An-225 Mriya. The air harbor has a significant geographical advantage, as it occupies a convenient geographical position, being at the intersection of air routes from the CIS countries to Southeast Asia, Europe and America.
