The President of Turkmenistan issued a severe reprimand to the Deputy Prime Minister for agro-industrial complex

“For improper performance of official duties, shortcomings in work,” the President of Turkmenistan issued a severe reprimand to Deputy Prime Minister Esenmyrat Orazgeldiyev, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex. The head of state signed the corresponding order today during a working meeting on the development of agriculture, the Vatan news program of the Turkmen television reported.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the results achieved in the industry, the leader of the nation ordered to strengthen control over the progress of reforms in this area and ensure a systematic transition of the agro-industrial complex to an innovative development path - a digital system.

“Particular importance should be attached to the introduction of scientific achievements into production, allowing to increase soil fertility, as well as the timely implementation of agrotechnical measures for the care of agricultural crops,” Berdimuhamedov stressed and gave appropriate instructions in this regard.

The head of state instructed Deputy Prime Minister E. Orazgeldiev to regularly analyze the financial and economic condition of enterprises and organizations of the agro-industrial complex, production and agricultural work. Along with this, uninterrupted, at full capacity work of the food industry, enterprises for the processing of agricultural products must be ensured.

Having analyzed the structure of expenses of enterprises and organizations of the agro-industrial complex, it is necessary to eliminate unnecessary costs, to exercise strict control over the consistent implementation of measures to reduce the cost of production and work performed, the leader of the nation said.

The corresponding instructions were given to the Deputy Prime Minister for the organization of purchases by the private sector and farms of agricultural machinery, aggregates and equipment.
