The main New Year tree in Turkmenistan, installed in front of culture and entertainment center “Alem” in Ashgabat is admitted as the highest among New Year trees of capital cities of CIS states. Its height is 41 meter, writes “TurStat” portal.
The second place took the main festive tree in Uzbekistan with the height of 36 meters. The third place went to the main New Year tree of Belarus with 30 meters height.
Then goes the main New Year trees of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan – 25 meters.
The main Christmas tree in Russia is a 25-meter-high live spruce on the Cathedral Square of the Kremlin in Moscow. In most Russian cities, artificial Christmas trees were installed in 2021, among which the tallest one is in Krasnoyarsk with a height of 55 meters, as in 2020.
