In Turkmenistan, in accordance with the Decree of the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, payments of pensions and benefits increased by 10% in 2021 has started.
The increase in the size of wages, pensions, state benefits, scholarships for students and listeners is an annual action carried out by the head of Turkmenistan.
Besides annual increase of pension and state benefits size, the number of laws and legislative and normative acts are adopted in this sphere. Among them: The Code of Turkmenistan “On social protection of the population”, which is a guarantor of legal security, equity and justice principle of dignified life of senior generation of Turkmens, also social support from the government of war and labor veterans, invalids, women mothers, other people in need of social services, according to the “Vatan” news program of the Turkmen television.
