In Ashgabat, pupils of the Palace of Orphans received gifts from the President of Turkmenistan

Today in Ashgabat’s Orphan children’s hall hosted the New Year’s celebrations during which New Year’s gifts were presented to children on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The heads of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan took place in the event. 

In “Dowletliler Koshgi” Palace located in the picturesque foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains children acquire not only knowledge, but also different occupations which help them after finishing school to step adult life with confidence.  Many pupils are the winners of prestigious creative competitions and international festivals, conducted in Turkmenistan and abroad. Among them – dance ensemble “Joshgun”, also laureate of the Gulbab children's prize. 

The owners of the Palace demonstrated their creative skills during the celebrations, performing a concert programme for the guests.

It is important to note that many elements of the festive decoration of the hall were made by children. Today they also recited poems at the beautiful New Year’s Tree, dances and sang inspired songs glorifying their beloved Motherland, the leader of the nation, as well as their favorite New Year's holiday.

The performances of young talents ended with a round dance with Ayaz Baba, Garpamyk and fairy-tale characters.

Then on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, the children were presented with gifts, including products of the domestic textile enterprises, good-quality winter clothes and traditional sweets.

Children also received gifts from public organizations and Ashgabat Hakimlik.

Upon completion of the holiday, pupils of Orphan children’s hall expressed gratitude to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for their happy peaceful childhood, constant care and attention, expressing the best wishes and congratulations on the coming New Year, informs State information agency of Turkmenistan.
