President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the extended meeting of the Government highlighted the specific attention should be paid to properly conduction of 2021st year – the Year of peace and confidence, stating that it was the initiative of Turkmenistan.
At the initiative of our country, in the second half of next year, an international forum of medical scientists will be held in Ashgabat to consider research and development to combat the pandemic. Emphasizing that a lot of work is to be done to implement these initiatives in the future, the President ordered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry and relevant industry departments to coordinate activities in this direction with foreign partners and establish close and fruitful contacts with them.
As states newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan” today, in the coming year, it is planned to conduct the sixth Caspian meeting in our country on high level. The head of Turkmenistan entrusted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to start the work on organization and conduction of this international forum at the appropriate level.
