According to the law of Turkmenistan "on state pension insurance", individuals who carry out business activities without forming a legal entity – individual entrepreneurs, individuals who provide professional services, being subjects of state pension insurance, simultaneously act as insurers and as payers of pension contributions must register with the local Department of the Pension Fund of Turkmenistan.
In this regard, the Pension Fund of Turkmenistan, in accordance with the procedure established by law, urges citizens who start business activities to register with the local Department of the Pension Fund."
