The XIII international conference "Türkmentel-2020" continues its work

Today, at 14:00 local time, the XIII international online conference on digital economy and innovative technologies of Turkmenistan "Türkmentel-2020" continued its work.

We will remind, the forum will be held in Ashgabat in the building of the chamber of Commerce, foreign representatives participate via video conferencing.

Today's program includes 2 sessions dedicated to the development of the fixed and mobile communications sector and cybersecurity.

In the first session "Building a unified national communication network", speakers included: Hojaniyaz Avganov - General Director of “Turkmentelecom”, Fuad Allahverdiev-General Director of “Azertelecom”, Jay‐Pi Takala - technical Director in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region of Nokia, Jang Jizhan-Vice President for Eurasia of Huawei Technologies Co Ltd, Dmitry Polpudenko-leading strategy adviser of Huawei Technologies Co Ltd, Vitaly Pastushenko-Deputy Director of Altyn Asyr CJSC, Roman Vasiliev - commercial Director of Vostochny Veter, Anar Abbasov-head of the operation and management Department of “Delta Telecom” (Azerbaijan), Maxim Akinin - Director of the Department for work with international Telecom operators “Rostelecom”.

Speakers at the second session "Digitalization and globalization of communications and the growing importance of cybersecurity and data protection" included: Ortvin Maer - Director for Eastern Europe and emerging markets, NTT DATA Romania S. A. and CEO of NTT DATA Turkmenistan, Mihail Anisimov - head of stakeholder relations for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, ICANN Corporation, Rustem Hayretdinov - Director of growth, BI.ZONE, Vaan Ovsepyan - Director of external relations for Central Asia and the Caucasus, RIPE NCC, Nurnepes Kuliyev, rector of the Institute of telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan.

Conference participants also have the opportunity to meet in person with interested parties to discuss cooperation.
