Today, newly appointed Italian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Luciano Galli presented copies of his credentials to the Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment to a responsible position, R. Meredov wished him success and new achievements in his mission.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current situation and prospects for the development of bilateral relations, and considered the possibility of expanding the legal framework for cooperation.
Special attention paid to cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian field, namely, the diplomats recognized the need to intensify joint work on creating a Cultural dialogue and preparing a Road map between the foreign ministries of the two countries. They also discussed the opening of our Trade representative office in Milan and holding specialized exhibitions of Turkmenistan in Italy.
During the meeting, the productive cooperation with Italian companies such as ENI, “Leonardo” and others noted. The diplomats spoke in favor of continuing the positive experience of holding business forums with the participation of leading companies of the two countries. They discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the field of healthcare and space relations.
