Today, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening ceremony of the modern sanatorium "Bagabat", built in the Ak Bugday etrap of the Akhal velayat by members of the Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, Hyakim of Akhal province, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and industry departments, representatives of public organizations and the media, health workers, elders and youth.

Thanking everyone for the warm welcome, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a speech.

"Comprehensive development of the health resort industry, provided for by the state program "Saglyk", is one of the main directions for restoring the health of our country's citizens. Special attention in this Program is paid to the construction of modern sanatoriums equipped with the latest equipment, as well as the reconstruction and modernization of sanatoriums previously built in the most wonderful corners of the nature of our homeland, near the sources of healing waters.

The important role of the sanatorium "Archman" and "Yyly suv" in Ahal province, "Mollagara" and "Avaza" in the Balkan velayat, the sanatorium "Dashoguz" in the Northern region of the country,

"Farab" – in Lebap, "Bayramali" – in Mary and sanatorium "Berzengi" in Ashgabat. All of them form a single infrastructure that serves our people today. On the basis of natural resources, we will continue to work on the construction of sanatoriums, in particular, in Koytendag.

As for the sanatorium "Bagabat", it was erected in the place corresponding to the name – blooming valley. Studies conducted by Russian scientists have confirmed the beneficial effect of clean mountain air, walking in Sunny weather on the physical health and well – being of a person, his mood and state of mind," the leader of the nation said.

The new sanatorium is a modern complex that meets international standards and can accommodate 200 people at a time.it includes such departments as balneotherapy, water and mud treatment, consultative diagnostics and physiotherapy, as well as SPA.

It will provide services in the prevention of respiratory diseases, diseases of the nervous, endocrine, digestive, reproductive systems, and skin diseases.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the sanatorium has created all-round conditions for citizens ' recreation and successful work of doctors, expressing confidence that this sanatorium will have a positive impact not only in terms of healthy rest and treatment, but also in increasing life expectancy.

Congratulating all compatriots on the opening of the new sanatorium "Bagabat" and the upcoming holiday-the 25th anniversary of neutrality, the head of state wished everyone good health, a prosperous and happy life.

"May this modern health resort always be healing in strengthening the health of the native people!", President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished.

Then, in a solemn ceremony, the leader of the nation cut the symbolic ribbon and went inside the building of the new sanatorium, where he got acquainted with the medical equipment and conditions created for staff and patients.

The head of state also asked about methods of diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases of the respiratory tract, which is one of the most pressing issues of modern medicine, noting that along with the use of modern effective practices, one should not forget about the national experience of preventing diseases such as “camel chal” and the use of sunlight.

“Camel chal” has long been known for its beneficial properties, it stimulates immunomodulatory processes that strengthen the protective system and human health. With proper use of the healing power of sunlight, you can get a tangible therapeutic effect that strengthens the immune system and helps with colds. In General, nature is fraught with great healing powers - these are medicinal plants, clean mountain and sea air, and much, much more. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that there were a lot of scientific works and studies of Turkmen specialists on this topic.

Developing this idea, the head of state gave instructions to the Hyakim of the Akhal velayat on further landscaping of the territories around the sanatorium and settlements, noting that tree planting is a contribution to the health of the environment and people.

Every year, the country's green belts are replenished with 10 million seedlings, and this year 25 million trees will be planted in the country to mark the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.

Next to the main building of the sanatorium there are two three-floors buildings, each of which is designed for 25 single, 35 double and 5 luxury rooms. Comfortable conditions for patients are created here. This area includes a restaurant with a diet menu specially prepared by a dietitian, a library and an Internet room, a conference room and an herbal bar where visitors are offered aromatic tea, medicinal mixtures, various infusions of medicinal plants, as well as snacks and fruits, vitamin cocktails.

There are walking paths and gazebos in the landscaped green area around the white marble building. The complex also has sports fields for football, basketball, tennis, Billiards, a children's Playground and a cafe.

At the end of the ceremony, the President of Turkmenistan left a memorable entry in the Book of honorary guests.

As a gift to the new sanatorium, the head of state handed over the keys to vehicles.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov once again congratulated the participants of the ceremony on the opening of the new center and wished the health workers success in their noble mission, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reported.

The new sanatorium "Bagabat" is the line length of 23 km. Directly to the sanatorium itself, a 5.5-kilometer two-lane road with an asphalt surface width of 9 meters is laid.
