Khabib Nurmagomedov: "I am familiar with the customs and traditions of the Turkmen people from childhood"

Undefeated UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov, who defeated American Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 last night, said hello to Turkmenistan.

"Big as-salamu alaykum to Turkmenistan! My father served in Kyzyl-Arvat. He told me a lot about Turkmenistan and the Turkmen people. So, since childhood, I am familiar with your customs and traditions. Inshallah see you brothers! I know that I have a lot of fans, I'll see you one day!", said Nurmagomedov in his video message on the official page of the ACA champion Dovletjan Yagshimuradov on Instagram.

We will remind, earlier in his interviews, Khabib Nurmagomedov mentioned that his father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov served 2 years in Turkmenistan (Kyzyl-Arvat, now the city of Serdar in the Balkan Region) and told him a lot about this country, which left many bright memories. Nurmagomedov made his MMA debut in September 2008. In January 2012, Khabib fought his first fight under the auspices of the UFC, and since then has been one of the main stars of the largest promotion.
