In September, the harvest of apples of mid-late and late varieties began, the State publishing service of Turkmenistan reports.
The collection began in the gardens, located in the mountainous area, the Northern region of the country and in the mountain villages of Nohur which are located on the administrative border of the two velayats - Ahal and Balkan, as well as in the gardens of the Piedmont valleys, where there are Apple trees of high-yielding varieties - "iron ore", "red delicious", "Simirenko", and unique Apple trees planted in the first half of the last century near a spring in the mountains. They still bear large round red fruits.
