Exhibition of Turkmenistan's economic achievements opened in Ashgabat

The opening ceremony of the Exhibition of economic achievements of Turkmenistan dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the country's independence was held in the exhibition center of the chamber of Commerce and industry in Ashgabat today.

At the opening ceremony, the President of Turkmenistan read out a welcome Address to the forum participants, in which the head of state expressed confidence that the exhibition opening today, as well as the scientific and practical conference, will become a platform for a wide acquaintance with the achievements in the economy and social sphere of the country.

The exhibition features more than 70 exhibition stands of state and private enterprises, which clearly demonstrate the country's development success.

Thus, traditionally, Turkmenistan's ministries, departments, hyakimliks, public organizations, and agencies display their stands with their services.

A wide range of goods and services are provided by the private sector. For example, the food sector is represented by products of domestic companies: ES "Ter miweler", ES "Parasatly", IE "Kümüş suw" and others.

Such companies as “Demir Ölçeg”, “Türkmen Yyldyzy”, "Maksatly gerçek", "Bäş daş", "Jeýhun kabel" and others demonstrate their achievements in the production of construction materials, cables and dyes.

Products and services in the field of energy and electrification are exhibited by foreign Companies-Turkish “Çalik Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A. Ş.” and Japanese “Sumitomo Corporation”.

ES "Türkmen Innowasiýa" presents the achievements of private entrepreneurship in the field of IT technologies.

The exhibition will include a scientific and practical conference "Digital economy-an important direction of economic development", during which specialists and experts will be able to share their best experience and discuss topical issues. The conference will also provide an opportunity to discuss further prospects for cooperation in this area.

The exhibition will run for two days: September 19 - from 10: 00 to 18: 00, September 20-from 10:00 to 17:00.
