According to the information, the interlocutors noted the great potential of relations between the capitals — Ashgabat and Yerevan, in particular, in the sphere of culture and sports.
The mayor of the Armenian capital expressed readiness to promote the development of relations between the two cities through concrete steps arising from the 2014 agreement on establishing relations of friendship and cooperation signed between Ashgabat and Yerevan.
It should be recalled that diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Armenia have been developing since October 1992.
