"We are immensely proud of our long – term cooperation with Turkmenistan in the field of energy," Ahmet Chalyk, head of the “Çalik Holding” group of companies, said today at the ceremony of laying new power units at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, assuring President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov that every effort will be made to ensure that the new project is completed on schedule.
Recall that the construction of two gas turbine power plants with a design capacity of 70 MW/h and the reconstruction of the power plant operating at the TCOR is being implemented by the Turkish company “Çalik Enerji”, part of the “Çalyk Holding” group, which has committed to complete the work in 18 months.
Noting that dynamically developing Turkmenistan, meeting its own growing needs for electricity, has the opportunity to increase its export volumes, the Turkish businessman drew the attention of the ceremony participants to the importance of the new power units not only for reliable energy supply of the oil refining complex, but also for the entire industrial sector of the city of Turkmenbashi.
Stressing that the company he heads highly values its participation in projects for the development of the country's electric power industry, the head of the holding expressed gratitude to the head of state for the trust placed in it.
The Chairman of the Board of the "Çalik Holding" group of companies also congratulated the head of state and the entire Turkmen people on the upcoming holiday – the 29th anniversary of independence, addressing the warmest wishes, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
