The conference hall of the football Federation of Turkmenistan hosted a working meeting of FFT representatives with the heads and head coaches of the participating teams of the national football championship. This is reported by the official website of the organization.
According to the information, during the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of holding the 2nd half of the Turkmenistan football championship, as well as the draw of the Turkmenistan Cup-2020.
"Based on the results of the meeting, the dates and schedule of the games of the Turkmenistan football championship and Cup will be announced in the near future," the official website of the FFT said.
The national championship is held in four rounds with the participation of eight clubs in the country. Ashgabat's “Altyn Asyr” won the first half of the championship: the team scored 33 points and is two points ahead of second-placed “Akhal”. “Shagadam” closes the top three with 22 points. A total of 54 matches were played and 142 goals were scored in the first and second rounds of the 2020 Turkmenistan football championship.

The current national champion, winner of the 2019 Turkmenistan Cup "Altyn Asyr" and Vice-champion, finalist of the Turkmenistan Cup "Akhal" will compete for the super Cup of Turkmenistan.
