President and Supreme commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved the Regulations on the inter-Sectoral Coordination Commission for combating corruption in Turkmenistan, signing a corresponding Decree today, the information program "Watan" of the Turkmen television reported.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has identified the fight against corruption as one of the priorities of state policy. In 2014, Turkmenistan adopted the Law "on combating corruption", and last year the criminal code was amended to prohibit the use of acts of pardon and Amnesty for corrupt officials, which are held in our country several times a year in honor of public holidays and significant dates.
