A long-haul Boeing-777-200LR plane of Turkmenistan airlines landed at the Turkmenabat international airport late at night, bringing Turkmen citizens from Belarus to Turkmenistan, who were forced to stay in this country after the termination of air traffic due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the airport's information service, the special flight with graduates of Belarusian universities was organized on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Recall that the first place in the number of foreigners in Belarusian universities – citizens of Turkmenistan. More than 9,000 Turkmen students study in higher and secondary specialized educational institutions in Belarus.
In accordance with who recommendations, all citizens arriving on a Charter flight from Belarus will undergo a mandatory two-week quarantine.
On September 8, a special flight will be organized to take Turkmen citizens Home from Russia. Departure from Moscow Domodedovo airport will take place at 15:30 local time (17:30 Ashgabat time). The airliner will arrive in the administrative center of the Lebap velayat at 21: 00 PM local time.
Last month, Turkmen airlines took Turkmen citizens out of Delhi (August 22) and Minsk (August 23).
