President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held today, ordered the start of winter wheat sowing in Turkmenistan on September 2, and the cotton harvesting campaign in the Akhal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary velayats on September 9. In Dashoguz velayat, cotton harvesting will begin on September 16.
Giving appropriate instructions, the head of state stressed that it is important to conduct both these responsible campaigns in an organized manner and at the proper level, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
