Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to France Shohrat Jumayev met with Director General of the world organization for animal health (OIE) Monique Elua and her adviser Romano Marabelli. The parties discussed strengthening cooperation in the field of ensuring epizootic well-being, the publication "Turkmenistan - Golden age" reports.
Shohrat Jumayev spoke in detail about the Association “Türkmen alabaý itleri” ("Turkmen Alabai"), whose activities are aimed at developing the selection of Alabai, preserving and increasing the unique breed of dogs, its popularization in the world.
Monique Elua highly appreciated Turkmenistan's efforts to protect animal health and said that her organization is ready for full cooperation. She also expressed a desire to visit Turkmenistan and get acquainted with the activities of the Association.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador presented Ms. Elua with books by the President of Turkmenistan, as well as other publications dedicated to the Turkmen Alabai and Akhal-Teke horses.
