A long-haul Boeing-777-200LR of Turkmenistan airlines landed at Turkmenabat international airport late at night, bringing our compatriots from Belarus to Turkmenistan who were forced to stay in this country after air traffic was cut off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the airport's information service, a special flight with graduates of Belarusian universities on Board was organized on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Recall that the first place in the number of foreigners in Belarusian universities – citizens of Turkmenistan. More than 9,000 Turkmen students study in higher and secondary specialized educational institutions in Belarus.
In accordance with who recommendations, all citizens arriving by Charter flight from Belarus will undergo a mandatory two-week quarantine.
In the near future will be organized special flights for export of Turkmen citizens to their Homeland from other countries of Asia and Europe.
