Today, a meeting of the participating countries of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline construction project was held, organized in an online format by the state concern "Turkmengaz". This is reported by the publication "Nebit-Gaz".
The Turkmen side was headed by the Minister, Chairman of the state Concern "Turkmengaz" Batyr Amanov.
During the meeting, the financial and construction aspects of the project were discussed. The parties noted that, despite the restrictive measures related to countering coronavirus, interest in the implementation of this project continues to be relevant and there is a need to discuss methods for its activation after the extinction of the pandemic.
The activity of the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan in the implementation of the TAPI project was highly appreciated. The significant progress made in the promotion of construction was noted, and the constructive efforts of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov aimed at speeding up the implementation of the project were highlighted.
