Issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed during a telephone conversation between Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al Nahyan.
Noting the effectiveness of cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries and the similarity of positions on key aspects of the regional and international agenda, the parties discussed the possibility of strengthening cooperation in the fields of transport, energy, chemical industry and ecology.
There was also an exchange of views on the current situation with the CAVID-19 pandemic and the possibility of increasing cooperation to counter the spread of coronavirus in the world, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
