One of the main production tasks of the State concern "Türkmennebit" is to increase oil production by using modern methods of field development. On behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, cooperation with foreign companies is actively developing in this area. Joint productive activity of foreign and Turkmen specialists contributes to the achievement of the set goals.
For example, public joint stock company “Tatneft” (Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation) is currently successfully completing its planned work program.at the end of 2018, an agreement was signed with “Tatneft” to provide services for major repairs of 88 wells at the Goturdepe field.
Sidetrack drilling is an effective technology that allows increasing the volume of hydrocarbon production at long-term fields. To carry out these works, “Yug-Neftegaz Private Limited” (Singapore) delivered two new mobile drilling rigs ZJ-15 with a capacity of 100 tons, manufactured by “DFXK” (China), to Turkmenistan and put into operation.
Recently, sidetracking was completed at well №1133 in the Goturdepe field and at well №385 in the Barsa-gelmez field. Both wells received industrial oil inflow.
The main advantage of this technology is that it allows you to involve new productive areas in the extraction of raw materials. At the same time, the cost of work is much lower than the cost of building a new vertical well. At the same time, it is necessary to accurately calculate the trajectory and angle of the new well bore, which requires high-tech equipment and highly qualified specialists with relevant knowledge and practical experience.
