Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip around the capital, getting acquainted with the state of Affairs in a number of new buildings, improving the city and maintaining its sanitary conditions at the proper level.
At the request of the mayor of Ashgabat, the head of state inspected the construction site at one of the intersections of the main avenues, where major reconstruction of the roadway is underway with the construction of a car tunnel and underground pedestrian crossings. Here, the President of Turkmenistan was accompanied by Sh. Durdylyev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the industrial and construction sectors, and Ya. Gylyjov, head of the capital's administration.
The Deputy Prime Minister and hyakim informed the head of state about the implementation of the next project to modernize the road transport infrastructure of Ashgabat, in particular, about engineering and design solutions for laying a tunnel along A. Niyazov Avenue.
Inspecting the facility, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that active urban development work in the capital, the growth in the number of vehicles require radically new approaches to the formation of the road network.
In this regard, tunnels are an important part of modern infrastructure that allows you to optimize traffic flows and reduce the load on the main routes. At the same time, the head of state stressed that when constructing such structures, it is necessary to lay the most favorable conditions for drivers and pedestrians, first of all, in matters of road safety, at the stage of their design.
Giving instructions in this regard, the President of Turkmenistan noted that the scale and thoroughness of the transport infrastructure largely determines the level of economic development and investment attractiveness of the city, the quality of its architectural, social and environmental environment.
In this context, the head of state drew attention to the need to improve the territory adjacent to the construction sites, gardening and improving the ecology of the city, giving a number of instructions on this matter.
Then President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov continued his working trip around the capital, heading to the Northern part of Ashgabat, in the residential area Choganly. Getting acquainted with the works being carried out here, the head of state made the most serious demands on the quality of construction.
While inspecting the road and transport infrastructure, the Turkmen leader expressed dissatisfaction with their improvement and the level of environmental component in this area. Noting that the most important condition for the quality of life is a favorable, healthy environment, cleanliness and order, the head of state stressed the importance of landscaping, strict compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards.
This also includes maintaining the city's highways at the appropriate level, the President said, and demanded that the relevant managers keep their activities in this area under strict control.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov dismissed the hyakim of this etrap of the capital B. Byashekov from his post for the weakening of control over the work carried out on the territory of the Berkararlyk etrap and for the shortcomings made.
For improper performance of official duties and weakening of control over the progress of work on the improvement of the capital, the head of state reprimanded the mayor of Ashgabat Ya. Gylyjov, demanding that he immediately correct the situation, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
