The Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries has prepared more than 45 thousand tons of liquefied natural gas for export in less than 6 months of this year (201 % of the plan), "Turkmenistan: Golden age" reports.

The use of liquefied gas saves oil resources, and its production does not require deep processing of raw materials. This fact allows many countries to seriously consider switching to liquefied gas as an alternative to gasoline and diesel fuel.

TCOR is the country's largest producer of liquefied gas: the annual volume is more than 300 thousand tons, or two-thirds of the liquefied fuel produced in the country.

About 200 thousand tons are used at the TCOR for the production of polypropylene and a component of high-octane gasoline.
