Large-scale activities aimed at preventing the spread of a dangerous infectious disease should be systematic and scientifically based. This was stated today by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers Purli Agamyradov and Gadyrgeldy Mushshikov, where practical steps were discussed to reduce the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the national economy.
Taking into account the current difficult situation in the world, it is necessary to take concrete steps aimed at protecting public health and reducing the negative impact on the development of economic sectors, the head of state stressed.
Special emphasis was placed on ensuring coordinated activities of all structures, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
