Turkmenistan has established a procedure for helping compatriots who cannot return to their homeland due to restrictions imposed in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
As it became known to Turkmenportal, from today the Central Bank of Turkmenistan has allowed international transfers through Western Union to compatriots stranded abroad, who, according to the list approved by the Ministry of foreign Affairs together with the State Migration service, have the right to convert 500 us dollars per month.
The above exchange operations are not provided for students studying abroad. For them, exchange operations are performed in accordance with the previously established conversion procedure for individuals based on the list of international universities approved by the Ministry of education of Turkmenistan.
