President of Turkmenistan, Supreme commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State security Council, which discussed the results of the activities of military and law enforcement agencies for the period from January to May this year.
Defense Minister B. Gundogdiev was the first to report on the work carried out over five months in the account structures, as well as on the progress of the spring recruitment campaign.
Speaking about the priority tasks facing this Department, the head of Turkmenistan stressed that the country's defense infrastructure should fully meet the realities of the time. The planned arrival of more modern military equipment and equipment requires comprehensive training of officers and soldiers, improving their skills. Speaking about the importance of actively implementing modern technical means and systems to ensure road safety, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, noted that this is intended to help prevent road accidents.
Head of the State border service Sh. Durdyev reported on the work to strengthen the material and technical base and create appropriate conditions for the service and life of military personnel.
Summing up the report, the President stressed the importance of the border Troops in maintaining friendly relations between Turkmenistan and foreign countries. During the meeting, the projects of the equestrian complex prepared in accordance with the instructions of the head of Turkmenistan were presented.
