The current state and prospects of Turkmen-Ukrainian cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres were discussed today by phone by foreign Ministers Rashid Meredov and Dmitry Kuleba, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
The foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Ukraine emphasized the importance of mutual support for the initiatives and initiatives of the two States on the platforms of authoritative international organizations, primarily the UN and others.
In this context, the parties noted the importance of continuing inter-Ministerial consultations and resuming regular meetings of representatives of the public and private sectors of the two countries, initially via video link.
The Ministers also discussed cooperation in the fight against the threat of spreading coronavirus infection and the activation of mechanisms for universal interaction to jointly counter the threats of epidemics.
They expressed mutual interest in strengthening cooperation in various areas of mutually beneficial partnership and intensifying interaction on the cultural and humanitarian component of bilateral relations.
